A computer program called Net Nanny?

Who likes Net Nanny? Is that the best thing for blocking some internet sights? Our computer is out in the living room as it holds the person on accountable. Still I have children in the house and I would like some web sights to not be accessed by my children. So I heard about this Net Nanny last night and was wondering what the thoughts about it were.

Good morning..The cold fact is that chidren tend to be so bright,crafty,and resourceful,that those programs are frequently compromised,temporarily turned off,or totally disabled,and sometimes while you are near,it might appear they are in a children’s site,yet when you are not,they hit the ‘minimize’ button and voila,back to some porn or something else inappropriate.I have SEEN that for myself,because THEY showed ME where some stuff like “TwO Girls,One Cup”,etc,etc(somewhere public)…Keep the computer in YOUR room,set it up with YOU as the system administrator,disable the “guest account”,and monitor them closely in person and with some free programs from the Internet for that purpose.
