Is there anyway to fix the Disc drive on my Sony Vaio Laptop Computer by myself?

What happened was, I was trying to enter a disc, but then the DIsc drive would not close. I really need to install that disc too, It is for the internet. No disc, no internet. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

if your computer is under warranty call the manufacturer(411 info to get the #) or if you have a computer tech near by that can suggest a place to by a new disc drive (micro center, comp usa) they sell the parts and you can replace it yourself or call 911 pc repairs @ 734-467-6947
