computer fan 80mm
Is my computer fan setup allowing the best cooling method?

I have a custom Apevia tower that currently has three 80mm fans installed: one on the top that is blowing air out, one on the side that is blowing air out, and one in the back that is blowing air in.

The system stays around 83 Degrees F, but can peak at 92 Degrees F when playing games on my Radeon HD 4850.

Do you think changing the fan on the top of the tower to blow air inside would help with the temperature issue, or should i just leave it as is, and go buy a one spot for my graphics card?

Thanks!

You want to have a flow of air. Now if you got room to mount a fan in the front then you would do wonders for the intake. Turn the side fan around and the rear fan around. That will draw air from the front and side of the case and blow it out the back and top. Most Power Supplies have fans as well to vent air out hte back as well…
What you are doing now is actually creating almost a vacuume inside your system that is actually causing a heating effect inside the box…
